Easter and a Silly

Ok since it's technically still April I can still squeeze in my post about Easter. Really not too much that went on. We saved the egg hunt for later in the afternoon at Grandma Lisa's house. I DID however do a cute little basket for each baby with some goodies. And of course there was the jelly bean "trail" leading from their rooms to their baskets! This was a fun tradition that my parents did for us each Easter and I want to continue it with my kiddos. So cute! Once Lakai noticed that the trail was CANDY he couldn't shove them in his mouth fast enough. Hahha!

Here is my Easter Lovely and my Easter Handsome! Reagan is always doing this silly side smile. I swear we're all doing it for our next FAMILY portrait, ha!

This one! She's a crack up. She loves to have you take her picture "like this", "now...like this". Changing her faces. The big one has me laughing for days. Oh my funny!

Happenings and Goings On

It's been a long time, I shouldn't have left you. {Without a dope beat to step to, step to...haha, never mind)! Anyway, naturally lots of things have happened since I last blogged. Especially since my last blog was technically just a plea for people to join our 5K, which I will have you know was a WILD success. We will be doing the same thing next year for our fundraiser. It was so much fun and we have a really good turn out. Very cool experience. So, onward. In March we went to Mexico. It was a beach blast like always, the kids had so much fun and it was fab being able to just chill on the beach and stuff ourselves with the local cuisine :)

The kids have been spending as much time as possible outside to enjoy this last little bit of wonderful weather before we head into triple digs. Yikes I'm really trying to stay positive this year in regards to summer and think OPTIMISTICALLY about all the fun that gets to be had when the weather is scorching. Lake trips, camping, playing in the pool all day. We will make it through and I'm going to try and complain as little as possible :) We shall see how I do!

And of course THE ZOO! I'm pretty sure I'm the bigger fan out of my family but I just can't help myself. I find the place a little bit enchanting. And I've been going to it since I was a wee girl myself so I have an attachment thing going on. Whatever the reasons, we love going and are trying to cram in as many visits as possible before going is no longer an option until October, ha! I will try to be better about posting. I thought these fun little collages would be easier to post than individual pix! Until next time....

Mustache Bash!

Ok I've got bitten by the blog bug :) I'm going to ride this wave for a bit and see how many posts I'm actually able to knock out, ha! I found Eric's file with all of Lakai's First birthday pictures, woorahh! The theme for his party was "Mustache Bash"! It was super cute! He practically dove into his cake and did a great job smashing it all over his face. It was a great party and the little man had a wonderful time. Can't believe he's a year old already, time is slipping away from me!

It was a great party! Thanks to everyone that came :)

Forever and a Day

It's been WAY too long since I last blogged!! So sawy :) Of course LOADS of things have happened since I cut all my hair off. It's no longer 2000 degrees outside! Woo hoo! Both Reagan and Lakai had birthdays at the end of September, super cute. I'll post pictures of that (someday....maybe). Lakai is officially walking, happened at 13 months (only 2 months behind sissy, no big deal right??) He still prefers crawling since the walking isn't quite as fast yet but I'm calling it official anyway. He walked all the way from the kitchen to Reagans room last night so that just proves it, ha! We had one of Eric's photog friends take our family pics this year. A big shout out to Miss Jane Zarzynski for the amazing shots! What a chore it was for her. My kids were a little CUCKOO after being in the car for almost 2 hours (we drove to Sedona for the gorgeous scenery). Anywootin' those are the pictures that I'm posting today. I'll try to be better about posting. "Try" being the key word :)

Florida to PA and back again

My gorgeous cousin Sarah got married 2 weekends ago in Florida and Eric shot (photographed) the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and my first time ever visiting FL. We played in the Atlantic Ocean, which yes is warmer than the Pacific and had an overall great time with family. And since we were already on the east coast we decided that a trip up to Pennsylvania to visit Erics mission would be fun! He hasn't been back since he got home in 2004. It was SO. MUCH. FUN! If it wasn't for missing our little bunnies (that's right the kiddos stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Greenhalgh) we wouldn't have wanted to come home at all. It is just so breathtakingly beautiful there. So much green, and stunning lawns, and vegetable gardens and flower beds EVERYWHERE. I swear, the house could be a total junker and practically falling to the ground but their front lawn would be perfectly manicured with a quaint flower bed. I just fell in love with the place. And it was neat meeting so many people that Eric had taught and the members of the church that he had become friends with. Thank you to everyone that opened your home to us, we love you all so much!
